Who We Are
Giving Path Solutions helps nonprofits build clearer fundraising systems, stronger stewardship practices, and more intentional donor pathways. The work is grounded in a simple belief: fundraising works better when strategy, systems, and communication support each other.Too often, nonprofit teams are forced to choose between the big picture and the daily work. Strategy lives in one place, donor data in another, and stewardship happens inconsistently because nobody has the time or structure to carry it forward.Giving Path Solutions closes that gap.

Our Approach
We believe fundraising is a form of community-building, and storytelling.
That’s why our work is:
Rooted in relationships – every move is human-centered
System-aware – built to last inside your team’s real workflows
Story-driven – because donors give to a future they believe in
Steady, not flashy – no silver bullets, just sustainable results

Ideal Partners
We work with nonprofits who are:
Feeling stuck in reactive fundraising
Ready to grow major giving sustainably
Wanting to center relationships over transactions
Small to mid-sized, or development teams building a new strategy from scratch
We support nonprofits that need:
Better development operations
Clearer reporting
Stronger donor follow-up
More confidence in their fundraising process
Practical guidance that fits their actual capacity

Founder
Giving Path Solutions
About Brett Hecksher
Born and raised in Oklahoma, I found a new home in New York City , a career as a nonprofit professional, and I've just started walking the new path of Fatherhood. My work sits at the intersection of fundraising strategy, donor communications, CRM process, reporting, and development operations. I help organizations move from scattered and reactive to structured and usable, with practical systems that support both the mission and the people carrying it forward.Through Giving Path Solutions, I work with nonprofit leaders who are doing meaningful work but feeling the strain of unclear systems, underused donor data, inconsistent reporting, reactive fundraising workflows, or stewardship processes that have not kept pace with their growth. Why Giving Path Solutions
Nonprofits do not just need more ideas. They need clear pathways. That means knowing which donors need follow-up, which reports actually help leaders make decisions, which stewardship steps are being missed, and which fundraising processes need to be simplified, documented, or rebuilt.Giving Path Solutions was created to provide experienced, practical support for organizations that need senior-level advancement thinking without hiring a full-time staff member. The focus is on useful strategy, clear recommendations, and systems that can actually be implemented in real nonprofit conditions. How I Help
Whether an organization needs a focused assessment, a fixed-scope infrastructure project, or ongoing strategic guidance, my role is to help bring order, clarity, and momentum to the work behind the fundraising. My Approach
I believe strong fundraising is built on more than urgency and good intentions. It depends on clear systems, thoughtful donor pathways, practical communication, and development operations that make follow-through easier. My approach is calm, direct, and implementation-minded. I help nonprofit teams identify what is working, where friction is showing up, and what needs to happen next. The goal is not to create unnecessary complexity. The goal is to make the work clearer, more sustainable, and more effective. At its core, Giving Path Solutions is about helping nonprofits build better stewardship and smarter fundraising, one practical step at a time.
